Current and former staff at Boston University's Center for Antiracist Research, gave a scathing assessment of its leadership, fiscal management and inability to meet goals, in Thursday's student newspaper.
"The Center has very, very much failed to deliver on its promise. It’s been a colossal waste of millions of dollars," Spencer Piston told the student newspaper, The Daily Free Press. Piston is an associate professor of political science, who works as the faculty lead in the Policy office at the Center for Antiracist Research "CAR."
Staff and faculty spoke out after CAR recently laid off at least 15-20 employees. Boston University explained that center was restructuring to a "fellowship model." But former staff claimed its founder, Ibram X. Kendi, had told them the past model was not "financially sustainable."

Well there’s sex in the sunny day
That shines down on Boylston Street
And I love the U.S.A
So share the modern world with me
Cause I’m in love with the U.S.A. now
I’m in love with the modern world now
Put down your cigarette
And drop out of B.U
Alright
Well out on Route 9
It’s bleak and nearly dying
Stop all this weak stuff
And drop out of B.U.!
With me in love with the U.S.A. now
Me in love with the modern world now
Put down the cigarette
And drop out of high school, oh
Oh that’s right
“This was a tough decision and of course it elicited a lot of strong opinions,” Kendi told the newspaper. “At the same time, I had to take the long view to ensure that the center would be impactful and sustainable 20, 50 years from now, particularly in a moment when racial justice organizations, and social justice organizations more broadly, are under serious attack.”
That makes no sense whatsoever. "Sustainable 50 years from now" and yet "in a moment when (bluegum race pimping nonsense) is under attack".
Uh huh. Tell that to Patrisse and her 7 Property Marxist grifting 'takeover', including her Georgia plantation with an aircraft runway.
What is obvious and easily dislodged if Rush were alive, is that BU is shutting down this grifter after 30M has disappeared, but without a comms plan, and now there is an open invitation to investigate this down-low fruitcake and BU and CAR for the missing money.
Millions of dollars. Why do you ask?
