“No, the greatest threat isthe left here. If they are not stopped nothing else matters.”
But you don’t seem to realize that the left here are doing EXACTLY what the Soviet communists had influenced them to do; and the Soviets’ residual Russia — now more fascist than communist — is still carrying the torch.
Think about it: Decades ago the communists stated that two of the surest ways to defeat the US and capitalism was to take over one of America’s major political parties (which they did with the Democrat party), and to take over the American education system (which they did with the American public school system, aided and abetted by the Department of Education, which was created by Democrats in 1979); and they succeeded even their own expectations.
Both fascism and communism are the fraternal twins of socialism — often at odds with one another — and both demand the establishment of a totalitarian government and the elimination of the concept of individualism. The main difference between the two ideologies is in the private ownership of property: Communism abolishes it entirely, and all means of production and economy are in the hands of the state (i.e., the ‘collective”); fascism allows for some private ownership of the means of production, but ONLY to the extent that private ownership produces what the government mandates and allows it to produce, and at prices only the government can establish.
Here in the US we often get caught in the crossfire of the internecine squabble between the fascists and the communists, both of whom are heavily represented in the Democrat party; except when they join forces to go after those they both despise: We Americans who believe strongly in the constitutional republic that was created by our nation’s founders. At which time, their combined fire is directed at us.
