That’s a dirty Soviet lie. That was one of the old Soviet propaganda smears, that we were deliberately letting the Soviets and Nazis wear each other out before we got in. The dirty truth is Stalin wanted the west and the Nazis to destroy each other and he’d just walk in and pick up the pieces.
