WASHINGTON — The White House’s go-to Republican critic of the impeachment inquiry into President Biden is considering leaving Congress for a new job — and expressed interest in being an on-air commentator for CNN, The Post has learned.
Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.), a five-term fiscal hawk, has surprised fellow conservatives by repeatedly criticizing the probe launched last week into Biden’s alleged corruption, including with a Sept. 15 Washington Post op-ed that other Republicans said included glaring inaccuracies.
Buck said privately last month that he was interested in a job at CNN, a source told The Post, after he weighed other options over the past year — including joining a DC-based law firm or seeking Biden’s nomination to the Federal Trade Commission.
Buck, 64, confirmed to The Post he’s exploring his options and said it would be “great” to join CNN.
“I am interested in talking to folks at CNN and other news organizations — on the, I don’t want to call them left, but sort of center-left — and having an opportunity to do that full-time or do that as a contributor would be great also,” Buck said in a phone interview.

He must know he's in trouble.
AMEN!! QUIT..GET OUT! NOW!~
Democrats plant RINO rats in red districts. The moles pop up just when Dems need them to derail a Republican initiative. How many times have we seen this?
I see Newsweak is pushing a B.S line that the impeachment probe is already falling apart.
“Then-Vice President Biden met Petro Poroshenko, the Ukrainian president at the time, in December 2015, after which he claimed he’d threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to Kyiv, unless Shokin was removed from his post, which he subsequently was.
Some conservatives have suggested Biden was attempting to protect Ukrainian energy company Burisma, the board of which his son, Hunter Biden, had joined in 2014, by moving against Shokin. However a pre-meeting memo prepared for Biden by the State Department, dated November 25, 2015, made it clear that removing Shokin was the Obama administration’s policy.
The document called for Shokin’s “removal,” claiming he was “widely regarded as an obstacle to fighting corruption, if not a source of the problem.” This document was published by John Solomon, a conservative commentator who has argued Biden did call for Shokin’s removal to advance his son’s business activities, on his Just The News website.”
Several folks “smelled” this coming not long ago. I think it was the Breitbart comments someone remarked he was probably angling for a leftist media job.......nailed it.
If RINO treasonous filth like this resign on their own then the better.
Any Republican who is looking at a job at CNN is not a Republican. Just a Democrat plant.
He’s getting primaried and looking for his next gig.
I alwways wonder what the new stalinists have on him.
