I hadn't heard about this aspect of Biden's EO on climate justice until it was mentioned on an episode of Epoch TV. They interviewed Margaret Byfield, the Executive Director of American Stewards of Liberty. (Another group I was unaware of.) Apparently the Feds are intent on buying up 30% of land in the US. Ocean, too. Vermont has passed its own 50x50 rule. Doesn't look like there will be much left for the citizenry.

The U.S. is currently conserving around 26 percent of its coastal waters but only about 12 percent of its land in a largely natural state... I'm not sure I undestand. What do they mean by "in a largely natural state"?
Nearly one third to 40% of the United States is public land, managed by federal, state, or local governments. About 90% of all federal lands are public domain lands, while the other 10% are acquired lands.
It's not like 28% is concrete and asphalt.
