Kevin McCarthy just failed to win the votes needed to pass the rule beginning debate on the defense spending bill. The rule failed 212-214. This is a major setback to the Speaker.
A setback to this Speaker is a great thing for Americans.

If the spending bill include one dollar for ukraine it deserves being shot down.

If you understood the concept of economics then you would also understand why the US is sending destructible assets to a foreign country.
Disarming the country being attacked won't end the war any more than disarming civilians stops a crime wave.
