At one time this would anger me, but at this point I just shake my head.

NYC (where I was born) is completely lost to civilization.
I left in the early 1980s, and refuse to set foot there since 2020.

I left in 1989 right in the middle of the Dinkins era. Never looked back. It is a hell hole.
