There ought to be a law. Government should end discrimination of all kinds. Fat people are people too. There needs to be equity. That can be achieved by pairing thin people with obese people using a couple quota system. Each couple must have a total weight of 450lb +/- 50lbs. That will lead to a diversity of relationships since there are different combinations to get to 400-500lbs. Perhaps allowing polygamy is another way to achieve equity and diversity.
Granted, it will take time, but eventually you’ll see changes in transportation seating. Government mandates for side-by-side large and small seating will aid in ending this most hideous form of discrimination when traveling. (I really hope no one is asking if this is sarcasm.)
they could build airplanes with one side of the plane that has seats for obese people, and the other side just for skinny people....- oh, nope- that won’t work
