What We Must Believe to Believe Biden Is Innocent
The Spectator ^ | 9/17/23 | DAVID CATRON

Posted on 09/19/2023 8:32:33 AM PDT by CFW

Is it plausible that the real rainmaker of Biden, Inc. was the only one who didn’t get paid?

It’s hardly a surprise that the corporate media have rushed to the defense of President Biden pursuant to the impeachment inquiry announced last week by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. More surprising is the absurdity of the arguments they offer on his behalf. For years, his denials notwithstanding, Biden knew his son ran an international enterprise whose only real service was selling access to the Vice President of the United States to foreign entities who hoped to procure favorable policy decisions from the Obama administration. This operation generated at least $20 million that was doled out to nine Biden family members, yet we are asked to believe that the “Big Guy” didn’t get a cut.

CNN, for example, insists there is no evidence that he “personally received any money.” The network’s fact-checkers evidently need to see a cancelled check made out to “Joe Biden” by an Oligarch who has helpfully written “bribe” on the memo line. The public is more sophisticated. A significant plurality of voters believe that Biden has accepted bribes. A recent Yahoo/YouGov survey asked this question (48F): “Do you believe that Hunter Biden funneled millions of dollars to his father in a long-running scheme to help Joe Biden profit off of his position?” Fully 45 percent of registered voters answered, “Yes.” These aren’t “MAGA extremists.” Indeed, 41 percent of Independents answered, “Yes.”

One would have to be pretty foolish, gullible, ignorant, or willfully blind to think that Joe Biden (and also Jill) didn't financially benefit from Hunter's business deals. Looking at the Biden's lifestyle alone is evidence that he was receiving income from something other than his VP salary plus Jill's income.

Yes, Biden received money from a book deal (a common way to launder money to politicians and journalists these days), but there is so much money that went through Hunter Biden's hands (and up his nose) that it is implausible to think that Joe didn't get his share. My goodness! He was the product being sold! In addition, there is email and text messages that show that Biden was receiving financial benefit.

I believe the reason so many in D.C. scream, "But there is no direct evidence" is because they too are receiving financial incentives from similar deals and they do not want anyone looking to deeply into the evidence lest their fingerprints show up in an investigation.

If merely funneling money to a 3rd party protected you from bribery charges then the statute(s) would be so weak as to be impossible to be enforced.

Unfortunately, the only impact of an impeachment of Biden will be that Senate Democrats will nullify the bribery clause of the Constitution.

It does seem that I’m posting a lot of articles supporting the allegations of Biden family corruption, doesn’t it? Maybe I should lay off that for a while and post articles regarding celebrity egos or videos of kittens and puppy dogs. Are the Kardashians still around and are pocket-poodles still an “in” thing? I’ll have to go look. Do you want to be pinged on those posts?

The only question that needs to be asked is, “What possible benefit could the drug-addled, POS pervert Hunter provide to justify the payment of millions of dollars, if not for his equally perverted retard of a father?”

Everyone keeps using the words "access" and "meeting" when talking about these business dealings. Oligarchs don't pay to talk to someone... they pay to alter US policy. As has been noted more than once: show me something Biden has done that has benefited America or hurt her enemies! Just one!

That m.o. has never worked for anyone else accused of bribery. As you said, if it did everyone would simply have bribery money deposited in a spouse or other family member’s banking account to cover their tracks.

“Just because that real estate developer gave my wife one million dollars, and I voted for a variance for their building project, that doesn’t mean they bribed me. My wife just gave them decorating advice. She has excellent taste”.

I don’t care if he’s innocent as accused. What I know for sure is that he is terminally stupid. He makes Hank Johnson and Max Waters look like Mensa members. This guy is so stupid I have to wonder if he’s retarded.

“What we must believe...” Here’s a list

That the moon really is made of green cheese.
That stepping on sidewalk cracks will break your mom’s back.
That pencil tips cause lead poisoning.
That cows do jump over that green cheese moon.
That politicians are unsurpassed in their dedication to veracity.

I oppose the ridiculous spin that to be guilty, Joe Biden must have reaped something tangible into his own pocket.

Most fathers love their children. Joe Biden has publicly declared that he loves his son and is proud of him. It’s one of the few things Biden says that I believe.

What loving father, who is completely fixed in life financially and wants for nothing, and is in his 70s/80s, wouldn’t be happy for his children to get the financial benefits of deals he can arrange?

Parents go to extraordinary lengths to get their children into the whoopteedo colleges, onto sports teams, into internships, into lucrative jobs. Benefiting Hunter (or Joe’s brother and other Biden clan members) benefited Joe Biden. Why would he want to amass wealth he didn’t need just to have them inherit it, with all sorts of costs and process?

Would it be nice to have smoking gun evidence of Joe taking cash collected in exchange for influence via Hunter? Sure. Is it necessary for Joe to be guilty of sale of office and bribery? NO. Biden arranged his influence peddling to have plausible deniability. Let’s not play along.

We must believe:

1. Bears do not poop in the woods.

2.The Earth is flat.

3. Gravity is an illusion.

4. Climate change is a proven fact.

5. If you pray hard enough, you get what you want.

6. 2020 election year was all above water.

7. America is incorruptible.

8. J. Biden always speaks the truth.

9. Pigs fly with ease.

One would have to be pretty foolish, gullible, ignorant, or willfully blind to be a democrat...

Willfully blind fits most of them.
They think because they are smart, and they KNOW they are smart, that they don’t need to learn anything new.

I have a relative like that, college educated , an RN,
refuses to listen, read, or see anything other than the party line. I had hoped that over the years they would wake up but to no avail.

At least one of the sheep that got shaken down and fleeced by Biden Inc. will have a moment of clarity, a crisis of conscience or just a plain old thirst for vengeance and will document all they paid and to whom and why.

Hopefully, with evidence and copies distributed to third parties...before getting disappeared. Then Biden Inc. and his handlers will be in deep kimchi.

Not likely, I know. But anything is possible.
