Kudos to Biddy for marrying him, too. Pip was of two minds for way too long. He also thought he would be doing her a favor, not unreasonable given the time. All were better off.

Long as Dickens is, he tidies up a lot of plots and subplots to a tidy finish consistently.

Read all Dickens Christmas stories. His first was the best 1843 Christmas Carol. The Chimes 1844 was good but to dark for my taste.I have one volume that has all the Christmas novels together.
