Even for these Texas districts....there are various lobbyists who make it their job to handcuff candidates to agendas. I suspect if you went to all of these Republican House members in Texas....they’d respond that such-and-such lobbyist group gave them a mandate, and they reacted. It might be worth asking...who?

I guess I would say it was handled so badly that everyone looks bad (except for house members who voted against impeachment.) Your point is correct.
