Because it conflicts with the amendment it cannot legally it become a legal law.

That wouldn't stop over half of the citizenry from allowing it to happen. If it did somehow make it's way in to the constitution, would it be used as a precedent to allow future amendments without regard as to their legality/constitutionality ??

That’s the problem we have with “gun laws!”

The people are so ignorant of the Constitution that they allow or go along with them!😟
