Yeah, no kidding. My dad was in Patton’s 3rd in Europe. Those guys wouldn’t have had a sense of humor where today’s military is concerned. Or today’s America.

My dad was 101st Airborne in WWII. Jumped out of perfectly good aircraft. His lack of humor in these regards would have been epic.
