Tourism wont save SF.

The big problem is the 250,000-300,000 daily commuters (workers and suburban shoppers, nighlife seekers, etc.) arent coming downtown anymore. That makes all downtown property (a Trillon worth?), worthless.

San Francisco is such a sad story of decline.

When I was a kid, my grandparents managed apartment buildings in San Francisco. It was a fun and beautiful city back then. I would go on school field trips to the museums and visit the Japanese tea gardens. The Golden Gate bridge was so beautiful, and it was always exciting to go through the tunnels before the bridge, that had rainbows painted over the arches on the Marin side (if I remember that correctly). San Francisco was almost magical back then.

Seeing what has happened to the once beautiful city of San Francisco is painful. It’s like watching a loved one sink into the pits of drug addiction.

In fact, the entire state of California has sunk into the pits. This is why I live in Texas now. Texas today is what California could be if it could get rid of the leftist rot that is destroying it.
