President Joe Biden's son Hunter was indicted on Thursday on three charges related to false statements in the 2018 purchase of a firearm, prompting legal analyst Jonathan Turley to question the possibility of a presidential pardon.
Hunter Biden was previously charged with illegal possession of a firearm "as a drug user" and failing to pay federal income tax in June, according to filings from a Delaware District Court. His legal team agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors in which he would plead guilty to two misdemeanors for failing to pay federal tax but avoid prosecution on the felony firearms charge
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, after news of the indictment, Turley wrote, "This may be the first child of a sitting president ever indicted. I previously raised the possibility that Joe Biden could pardon Hunter and then cite that abuse of power as a reason for declining to run for reelection.
"There is little room for a defense here beyond what I previously raised: challenging the constitutionality of the underlying law under the Second Amendment. However, to do so, Hunter would be challenging a law that his father enthusiastically supports with cases that his father has vigorously condemned. Having Hunter go full NRA could present political problems for the President."

They will stay silent on this.
Will Hunter strike a plea deal by implicating Joe in the family bribery schemes? No jail time on weapons charges if he turns evidence on the big guy? You know, $60 million in evidence?
Humper the illegal GUN runner
what, and bury the RAT party???
sure...
prolly depends on which FJB shows up that day
He doesn’t have to because the DEMOCRAT JURORS will find him INNOCENT and give him a CROWN!

Don’t forget the prosecutor poorly presenting the case.
Annnd every one caught in the same gun crimes Hunter did, will want the Hunter Biden deal....
Biden’s niece Casey Owens - his sister’s child - aided and abetted Hunter’s influence peddling schemes which benefitted the Biden family’s wealth accumulation.
Casey Owens official US govt trip to China was with Obama’s US Treasury delegation, “The US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue team,” led by then-Treasury Secy Timothy Geithner.
During the visit, Owens was privy to sensitive US govt information WRT China’s multi billion dollar sovereign wealth fund. Owens passed on the info to the opportunistic Hunter as a possible investment contact who soon followed up.
Who cares? Joe is the prob.
Just like they’re doing w/Trump, lawsuits should be filed in every state to keep him off the ballot.
It doesn’t matter that Trump hasn’t been convicted of anything, so it shouldn’t matter that joe hasn’t been impeached yet either.
If Hunter gets a sweetheart deal (no jail time, just probation and a fine), Joe will probably let it be.
But suppose Hunter does get jail time. That’s where it could get interesting.
Joe: I want to pardon my son. Get me a pen and paper.
Handler: We can’t allow that, sir. Here’s a pudding cup. Now go take a nap.
Once they admit that he’s been operating at the level of a 1st grader, all his signatures on any government documents will be declared null and void - including family pardons.
Hah! Sometimes I crack myself up.
Made me think of the Harvey Korman/Mel Brooks scene at the desk in Blazing Saddles.

Of course he will.
There, fixed it.
Probably won’t need to because of a lenient sentence or plea deal. But if it came down to it; is the sky blue?
Of course he will.
~~~
He wont have to pardon him. Bank it.
There will be nothing more than a fine. The corrupt bidens have raked in more than enough money from kickbacks to pay the fine. The trial will be a show trial, so we will think that they are being fair - prosecuting both Trump and biden.
