This is weird. I’ve never seen a company go out and waste billions of dollars on a product that’s not selling.
It once heard that Japanese auto makers are headed up by engineers, while American automakers are headed up by salesmen and marketers, and that’s why Japanese cars are so consistently superior. Jim Farley is a marketing and customer satisfaction guy.
Which just proves they are willing to do anything to win their government master’s approval, customer needs and wants be damned.
