I don't accept this as conclusive proof. Do they have actual skin samples to examine for pigmentation? No? Conjecture.
Mind you, not that I care whether he was white, black, blue or green. It's just the dovetailing with the aforementioned agendas.
The confidence level for the association of the genes Cheddar man has with dark skin color is over 90%. It's not just one sample, it matches the genetics of other Mesolithic and Paleolithic Europeans. It doesn't really matter now because that population is extinct.
The agendas are political in nature. No doubt meant for worse for the current European population.
A big part if this is the attachment of values to the idea of an indigenous population.
People need to delete the idea that indigenous people have some sort of special property rights. Land is for those who can defend it.
