Not suggesting Paxton as pure as the driven snow, of course he isn’t. But then, what politician is. He was obviously singled out for a reason. The Texas House of Representatives has a large (86-64) Republican majority. 86 Republicans, and only 23 voted against this impeachment. Either Texas has gone full RINO, or there is far more going on here. So, What IS the reason he was "singled out" by a majority in his own party? I'm not a Texan, so have not really followed this case...

It shows the sorry club mentality of our elected officials. There was a late night session and Phelan showed up drunk and Paxton called him out on it. So, out of loyalty to the drinking club, the sorry republicans piled on.
