Trump was elected in 2016, the vaccine came along in 2020, after Trump called for its development. But, true, Kamala and most democrats were condemning it as a vaccine that would/could hurt people.

You are not correct. Trump never called for the vaccine development—the vaccine was already in development. He may have gotten it to market faster. In part because so many people would not leave their homes until a vaccine was available. That was the only thing that so many people would accept. I know many people in this category.
