Back to the days of the 1980s when generic brands became popular for a short while.

It’s free anyway because the blacks just steal it.

“gun violence”

Stop 🛑 using the lefts verbiage!
Just say they’re not killing each other.
Use the lefts language and you hamstring yourself before you start.

You'll have to show your Mark at the door to determine if you get any food, or not.
Those sharing food with those without the Mark will have their Mark removed and no longer be allowed access to food.
Later, food will only be available on even numbered days.
Then, food will only be available one day a week.
Food will then be given to only to soldiers and members of the ruling class.
Dumpsters and garbage dumps will be guarded, trespassers will be shot on site.
It begins...

The closest grocery store where I grew up was about 15 miles away, about 5 miles of which was over a muddy/icy/dusty dirt road.

But when in dire need, there were fish and deer, squirrels, etc.

"Cheese, rice, flour and beans should be free."

I know you're being cynical but NOTHING in the universe is free, everything comes at some expense. If you choose to give away cheese, rice, flour and beans it's at your expense, you will have to absorb the loss if money, energy...something, because the universe always settles it's debts.

“ Pawar said the model of offering millions in city subsidies to large operators has failed.”

That’s not the policy that’s failed. The failed policy is allowing a certain segment of our population to engage in organized theft without being punished for it.

But this idiot would never admit to that.

There’s so much wrong with this proposal it’s hard to respond to all of it.

“ My favorite government run business story is when the IRS decided to run a whorehouse that had been in business for two hundred years.”

I’m old enough to remember that miserable failure.

Yeah, put the corrupt City of Chicago in charge of a grocery store. What could possibly go wrong?

I literally laughed out at the headline. NO WAY can the Chicago government run a business without corruption. And why is there a “food dessert”? Because they won’t deal with REAL ISSUES that cause businesses to leave.

Truth be told, they LIKE that black people are on drugs, have broken families, and are ignorant. The TRUTH is that they are anti-black.

This way they can get a head start. They will morph them into soup kitchens eventually.

It reminds me of the yard art at some of the projects in the 60’s and 70’s in Chicago.
