Oh yes, Bin Laden’s attack on the twin towers in NYC was a very big deal as well. Where is Bin laden now? Terrorists can have some very big deals once in a while.
USA is still the world’s biggest economy.
Putin begging Nork boy for ancient Soviet artillery shells yesterday. Winning!

Nope. Go to any provider of satellite views and compare...
Two more ships damaged and possibly repairable, 31 dead.
Bonus: Russian police thought a group of Russian soldiers were saboteurs and opened fire, killing 3; return fire killed one cop.
I’ve seen other military experts suggest naval power (for everyone) is becoming obsolete due to satellites, submarines, cruise missles, and drones.
I mentioned this in a different sub on one guy (probably a navy guy) went ballistic at the suggestion.
What are your thoughts on this?
I’d say the big deal this week is Vinyl Pants Zelensky, your hero, admitting the so called counteroffensive was dead in the water.
How do you know it was missiles? At minimum, it appears to be a combined missle and speedboat attack.
Drones of various types are possibilities, it seems.
Ukraine has demonstrated a serious ability to innovate, adapt, and repurpose old style Soviet hardware with more modern guidance systems.
I find the thought the President Putin "knows" the Ukrainians do not possess the ability to be dubious at best.
Then why is the Ukrainian Army only two miles from the Donetsk Airport, with the defending Russian soldiers fleeing and getting mowed down by their own arty?
This doesn’t appear to be “a bunch of low cost drones”. But it may well be 3-4 Stormshadows and a bunch of relatively low cost decoys. Still pretty cost effective.
And if the USA is truly on it to help the Ukes win it like Brandon keeps claiming we should have a crash program of making all sorts of attack drones on huge numbers for the Ukes to flood the battlefield with. Massively attack inside Russia proper as well.
Past time that Russian common flow felt terrorized by Putins invasion as well.
Common folks

Much of warfare is economic. Kipling wrote of this in Arithmetic on the Frontier:
A scrimmage in a Border Station-
A canter down some dark defile
Two thousand pounds of education
Drops to a ten-rupee jezail.
The Crammer's boast, the Squadron's pride,
Shot like a rabbit in a ride!
The weapons systems which can devastate billion dollar ships cost a mere tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
If you can take out a billion dollar ship with a million dollars of weapons, The billion dollar weapon system is obsolete.
There are mitigating factors: ship and air based directed energy weapons to take out the drones and hypersonics at extreme speed and effectiveness; many uses for seapower other than all out war; the United States advantage of being oceans away from its major adversaries.
The closest analogy is WWII battleships being relegated to near irrelevancy by air power.
Yep.
What took out this Rooskie drydock was the 990 lb warhead on a Storm Shadow cruise missile. British donated. Well written article!
And don’t forget the scheme to press Cubans into serving in Putin’s evil war. Havana is pissed. Armenia feels abandoned. Vladimir’s only remaining friends are the crazy fat boy in Pyongyang and the maniacs in Tehran.
Well, besides the freedom-hating lunatics right here on FR defending him.
“Are you implying Russia blew up their own drydock?”
Useless Putin started this war. So yeah, he destroyed his own dry dock.
And boy do you you Putin Fanbois need to.
Russia is going to have to build up Novorissisk as a naval base. Or simply cut back on their navy...a task where the Ukrainians have been most helpful.
Because we will find out most of what you just typed is BS, as ALWAYS with your incessant admin disinfo.
