Not a vax enthusiast because they are effective for too short a time.
There are NO Excess Deaths currently for the 0-64 age group. That’s compared to 2016-2019 adjusted for population growth and fentanyl. ZERO. None. The death counts for this age group are NORMAL, so all you vax panic types have no data. Excess Deaths is the gold standard and nobody who got vax (or didn’t get vax) in that age group is dying in unusual numbers. You can put all this crap to bed. It’s wrong. The numbers have proven all that bogus.
The data is public. You can do your own analysis. In fact, if you don’t, then you know nothing at all.
Current Covid death and case counts are a week or so delayed via funding reduction. The death count is about 75/day. That’s up a big % in recent weeks, but a big % from a small number (50ish a few weeks ago). This is not a big enough event to warrant more or less anything.
Now make no mistake here — if we start uncorking 1000s/day of deaths in a few weeks (as winter arrives), then this choice to make little of it now at the start will be slammed. But regardless, the numbers uptick is not yet big enough.
Note disease resistance from having been vaxed was fading at soon as 6 months in the past 3 years. And there is no reason to think past infection provided any resistance that lasted longer. So the whole population going into this winter has fading defenses.
The fact that immunity to coronaviruses wanes rather rapidly is no reason to avoid vaccination. Professional antivaxxers use this characteristic of the immune system to convince people that vaccines are worthless. Catching Covid is still more risky than vaccines, by orders of magnitude.
I do not know how the vaccines can be formulated to overcome the immune system’s inability to mount a long-term response to coronaviruses. That may end up being a holy grail like the search for a universal influenza vaccine.
