It looks like Gov. Grisham is not backing off here. And she’s got one important card to play: the New Mexico state police. It will be interesting to see if they honor their oath, or “just follow orders”.*

Perhaps the sheriffs and other law enforcement should make it clear to the state police, you arrest on this illegal order and we will arrest you.
During the Covid pandemic she shut down businesses and fined them $20,000 a day if they opened, and sent two State Police Officers to a preacher’s house to harass him after he held a service out-of-doors, where everybody was distanced. They will do what she tells them to do.

two things:
1. I wonder what the civil summons would be for, and what would be the penalty?
2. Civil summonses have to be served IN PERSON, and are easy to dodge if not served in person at the time of the alleged civil violation ... if you know service is likely, they’re fun to dodge, because you don’t answer the door to strangers ...
