Grisham is just behaving like a typical modern Democrat. Even the most well-intentioned of them NEVER think ahead. They support open borders, shutting down power plants, etc. with no thought about how everything will play out.
Conservatives think about tomorrow.
Liberals live for today.
Suspending VOTING rights of bimbos would help stop the insanity of "the stupid" running the country into the ground. How would police state thug Grisham feel about that? Well sweetie how do the bimbos feel?
The Sheriff probably has more constitutional power of his county than the Governor does.
It’s Kabuki theater. They’re going to go for Newsom’s plan to amend the Constitution, and this is the first move in setting the stage for it.
There will be more of this, leading up to the election.

Perhaps the sheriffs and other law enforcement should make it clear to the state police, you arrest on this illegal order and we will arrest you.

She is testing the left’s new “non-preemption” doctrine in prep in case Trump gets back in. She is pushing state’s rights over the “Supreme law of the land” in hopes that it somehow becomes successful, in other words trying to overturn the age-old “Preemption doctrine” where when state laws/actions conflict with a Federal law, then fed law preempts the state law/action. Blue States want this. There is a very good argument that this is an Insurrection against the US Constitution.
She is also violating the state constitution.
I think it’s a test run for the rest of the country. She must be smacked down hard.
The New Mexico governor is just putting out there a trial balloon. She’s being sacrificed by democrats in order to test how much they can get away with in trying to undo the 2nd amendment (gun rights). If there was no blowback, democrats would have taken it as a license to do more anti-constitutional mandates and/or regulations. The intent is to go slow, one step at a time, and gun rights is a big test. Democrats have already attempted to get around free speech/freedom of the press/ freedom or religion/freedom of assembly; they’ve gotten away with violations of the first amendment, and now they’re working hard against the 2nd amendment. They’ve violated our 4th amendment rights in the last few years and have imprisoned many who were just exercising their constitutional rights.
So, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is the tool, but what they’re after is undoing most or all of our constitutional rights, including what’s in the constitutional amendments.
They need to be stopped.
She couldn’t care less. Her ilk and party will do whatever they think they can get away with.
And the odds of said Amendment actually passing the required gauntlet is practically zero.
She needs arrested and incrassated or recommended to the State Looney bin in Las Vegas, NM.
She’s like smoke in the nose.
That may be more of a death rattle form her mouth than actual words.
Where did that come from? What is the larger document that contains it? What is the source/citation?
The New Mexico Sheriff’s Association has stood up to her before, particularly when the Red Flag law was passed by the liberal legislature. It did no good, because New Mexico has become California.
Lujan-Grisham is a radical lefty. She had Kamala Harris officiate her wedding recently in DC.
