Makes me think of the cough syrup with codeine that physicians insist or prescribing even though they know that it is the worst formulation on the market and does nothing for cough or pain.
Im not sure how giving the patient severe constipation is supposed to help the situation, unless the whole point of the exercise is to punish them for going to a doctor for a cough.
sudafed works for me. Will clear up a runny nose in 30 minutes.
The FDA should be subject to a class action lawsuit for approving an ineffective medication, suckering millions of Americans to waste billions of dollars on ineffective snake oil. (Snake oil being the the the FDA was ostensibly chartered to protect us against.)
it would be better for all of us to get off as many meds as possible and try simple things, as you suggest, a hot shower, mistifier, and for me a hot cloth over your nose and eyes and inhaling chicken broth works pretty well.
(sp?)
😆

Been awhile since I had some but the codeine stuff works for me. Don’t remember any constipation.
What about the covid 19 vax...it does not seem to work either.
Everyone I know who has had covid 19 had the vaccinations and boosters.
“Antihistamines have saved my butt from bee stings more than once.”
Same here in my household. My husband had never been allergic to insect stings. However, one day he got stung by a scorpion and his throat was swelling shut by the time I got him to the hospital. I had given him two Antihistamines when he lips from started swelling. The doctor said that saved his life. Since then I always keep some on hand.
Ephedrine and pseudephedrine are vasoconstrictors, not vasodilators.
It must be effective on the next Covid variant./sarc
I never leave the house without a pocket knife and Benadryl.
My first adverse reaction was a sting on a thumb 400 miles from home. Couldn’t flex my elbow due to the swelling. When I finally made it to a clinic, the doc tried to tell me it was an infection, not allergy. Never saw him again.
Works for me
Is this why it should not be taken by someone with a heart condition?
Yeah, the FDA is wrong. It is probably more accurate to say that the FDA is lying - again.
“Yeah, the FDA is wrong. It is probably more accurate to say that the FDA is lying - again.”
What do you base that on?
Let the consumer decide?
OH NO!!! They can’t be trusted! Follow the “experts”!!
laff laff laff laff and laff
...and I’m probably thinking of pseudoephedrine, and therefore I AM wrong.
Just get the vaxx and everything will be fine. 🙄
