The child porn charges were dropped when the images could not be substantiated as minors.
The school district stated that they were aware of Murnan’s past charges, but still defended hiring him based on what they refer to as his great qualifications and outstanding reputation.
A statement released by the school board said:
“Dr. Murnan has been serving the field of education for more than 25 years and has an outstanding reputation. He comes highly recommended from previous supervisors, colleagues, and educators. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Masters of Education in Educational Administration, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration. We welcome Dr. Murnan to Western Heights, and we are very excited about his vision for John Glenn and the community.”
When I was in grade school the principal, also a sheriff’s deputy, took my pants down to deliver a spanking. This would be probably 1963. I felt violated. Several years later he was arrested for sexually molesting little boys.
On the basis of those qualifications he should be flogged mercilessly with a cat o' nine tails, then thrown into a manure pit.
I’m guessing weirdo judge who said ‘they or whatever’ couldn’t tell the difference between a 12 year old and a twenty year old. Let’s see picture of the faces in his porn - if they’re adults it won’t be a problem. Then all of us can agree or not agree with ‘the judge’.
