X owner Elon Musk is criticizing New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham after she temporarily suspended open and concealed carry across Albuquerque and the surrounding Bernalillo County for at least 30 days.
On Thursday, Grisham said she needed to respond to recent gun-related deaths in the area. The suspension of open and concealed carry was classified as an emergency public health order.
"When New Mexicans are afraid to be in crowds, to take their kids to school, to leave a baseball game — when their very right to exist is threatened by the prospect of violence at every turn — something is very wrong," Lujan Grisham said in a statement.

You have to wonder why a Federal Court injunction against this order had not already been granted.
Surely the Republican Party, NRA, Concerned Citizen, or some other party in New Mexico would have already filed a court case asking for an immediately injunction to stop this blatant abuse of power.

The key questions that the governor must answer is: who are committing these crimes? Are they arrested? Are they jailed? Are they prosecuted? Are they imprisoned? She must be made to admit that it is the failure of the justice system that has led to the crime wave.
In another thread, there was lawsuit filed yesterday by National Association for Gun Rights. Haven’t of others yet.
They did this in New Orleans during Katrina. I remember a big brouhaha when some white police disarmed some locals on a bridge near there. Do you all remember how that worked out?

What I was trying to point out is not necessarily the NRA but someone, anyone who is supposed to be supporting gun owners and the 2A taking action in New Mexico.

IMO, someone could have filed for emergency injunction on Saturday, if not then as soon as the courts open on Monday there needs to be an emergency motion filed with the courts asking for an immediate injunction to stop this abuse of power.
This is kind of a test case, something to crack the door on Gun Control or any other issue the Liberals deem to be an “Emergency”, it’s guns today, tomorrow it could a climate emergency to limit driving, it could be a covid emergency, it could be a racial emergency giving the politician in charge the power to be a dictator.
If it works in New Mexico, why not Chicago, why not any other deeply blue state.
