I was listening to Kristi Noemi talking about “the government” shutting everything down. She never mentioned that she and Trump were the government at the time. Kemp was right. Trump was wrong. Big time.

Your comparison of Kemp to Noem is backwards.

Kemp shutdown down bars and clubs on March 24th.

Kemp shutdown all K-12 schools on April 1, through to the end of the school year in June.

On April 2, Kemp issued a statewide shelter in place order.

On April 8th Kemp extended the statewide shelter in place order through to the end of April.

On April 24, Kemp opened gyms, hair salons, bowling alleys and tattoo parlors, with movie theaters and restaurants at 50% capacity allowed to reopen on April 27.

Noem never shut anything down.

And Trump didn't force any governor to shutdown down. Kemp's shutdown is on him.

And Trump only wanted Kemp to wait another week or so to open up.

Wrong. Noem wanted to go to lockdown - the SD legislature shut her down instead.

Trump did pile on Kemp along with the MSM and the Covidians over lockdowns. I remember it well and was quite disappointed in him by then. I took a lot of heat for saying that Trump had effectively turned his presidency over to Fauci. His constant undisciplined pressers during that time also played into the hands of the MSM.

He was a solid A in my book for 3 years and an F in year 4, but he still has my vote.
