Ann Coulter thinks it’s easier to get things done in politics than it is, so she’s easily disappointed. She also likes to be a contrarian and attract attention to herself. And she doesn’t always think before speaking.
Even when Coulter was everybody’s darling here she said a lot of provocative and stupid things, just because they came into her head at some point. She doesn’t seem to have people around her who can argue with what she says and force her to support her opinions with evidence or question the things that pop into her head.
When Teddy Roosevelt wrote “The Man In The Arena”, he had people like Ann in mind.
