The January 6 defendants entered the Capitol, although they were probably lured into doing so. The Atlanta indictment is for trying to overturn the rigged election. Sentences like that would certainly send a message.
They were sentenced to federal crimes. If Trump wins I pray their sentences will be pardoned.
Enrique Tarrio received a 22 year prison sentence and was not even in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, let alone in the Capitol building.
