Here in Florida shopping centers that had department store anchors are in sad shape. The one nearest me I believe was repossessed because the busy Costco alone wasn’t enough.
You may, BUT I picked a place that is strict....and per capita is 60-80 K..... best school district and family oriented. Pick and choose...also lots of ammo here!

Excellent question. They all seem to be “off market” with build dates of 1900. They all have different names, and no contact info.

1900 I think is the default date on real estate sites - they’ve all been built in the last 5 years or so. I haven’t checked the tax rolls, so that may be a good place for me to look next.
Set it up like Service Merchandise and you’ll only run into employee shrinkage.
Close the store and create another food desert for those stupid democrats.
