That’s a fair assessment.

That’s why it would be advantageous to get some original sources or history books written on the topic prior to the rise of the left’s historical narrative.

I don’t often run into people knowledgeable about the topic, but I want to know more.

There can be a reliance on places like Wallbuilders, which generally do a good job, but we can’t be totally reliant (or worse, dependent) on that. We have to KNOW what we know and be able to speak about it independently, with reliable and detailed source material.

Your assessment is also fair.

Fascinating as well to see how much the common narrative derives from establishment history vs first hand experience word of mouth over the years, and how much accurate facts remain as opposed to legend and myth.
