A married rabbi from New York City has been arrested in Israel for 'rape by deception' after his double life as a secular dating app Romeo was exposed.
Rabbi Yosef Mordechai Paryzer, 35, has been criminally charged for using a false identity to get women to have sex with him - with one of the relationships lasting more than seven years.
The father of two allegedly used fake names such as Jake Segal to set up online dating profiles on sites like Tinder and Bumble and dated many of the women simultaneously.
Two of the women he allegedly fooled filed a criminal complaint of rape by deception with Israel police and an investigation led to Parazer's arrest. Authorities say they have interviewed an additional 18 women and a dozen more have come forward since Paryzer's arrest.
Originally from Brooklyn, the rabbi moved to Israel about 10 years ago and worked as a teacher at a Jewish school but has been fired.
'Consensual sex performed under false pretenses, ie. false identity of the perpetrator, is a criminal offense that is legally defined as rape,' the accusers said on social media, as reported by i24ews.
Police say Paryzer would tell unsuspecting women that he was single and living with roommates while working for a non-profit organization as a trainer for dogs for the blind.
One of the women told Fox News Digital she met the rabbi on Tinder and he seemed 'very normal.' The two reportedly discussed a future together after dating for a few months.
But the woman began noticing red flags in the relationship, as she was never invited to his apartment and he did not want to spend weekends together, claiming he had roommates and had to observe the Jewish Sabbath.

I remember a story from 10 or 15 years ago. An Arab was convicted of "rape by deception" because he lied about being Jewish, causing a Jewish woman to sleep with him. I think he was sentenced to a couple of years.
I've also heard feminists in the U.S. argue that if a man lies to a woman, so she sleeps with him, then it's rape.

But they never claim it’s rape when a woman lies to a man.
The key to avoiding bad relationships with a man who lies to you, is to not sleep with them until there is a ring and a date.

We are suposed to think that very religious people are not subject to evil temptations, but that has never been the case, for any religion at any time. Evil temptations are not discriminators of any kind, other than favoring the morally weak.
It used to be that “rape by deception” was limited to things like a man convincing a woman he was her husband, returned from the war.
Now women want to jail a man for sleeping with other women or lying about his wealth.
In that case, men should be able to jail women who lied about living him and instead just wanted to get her hooks on his income, or who lost interest in sex after the wedding.
It seems like nobody can keep it in their pants anymore. Sheeesh!

If he picked them up on Tinder that should be a rock solid legal defense.
Any woman that uses that service wants sex with a stranger—and that is what they will get!

There is a certain type of person, could be male or female, who seeks or creates drama and thrives on the continued state of chaos. I’ve know a few like that and I try to stay far away from their ever-whirling whirlpools of stuff.
Some of these folks become quite proficient at lying, doing what’s needed to keep all those plates spinning on top all those long raised poles.
Man if they had that law in America every single man and woman who has sex outside of marriage would probably be arrested.
