As others have said a cure for diabetes, for example, would make a little money. Not curing diabetes makes hundreds of millions a year in advice sessions in medical facilities, test meters, test strips, prescriptions, more prescriptions to help with the first one’s side effects, doctors’ visits, special sugar free foods, hospital stays, surgery for advanced cases and more. Billions of dollars if not cured.

Big Pharma and others are counting on Covid as an ongoing cash cow.

Moderna and its intellectual property team has completely failed to cite my prior work and the issued patents.

Understandable self-interest, if they knew of those publications.

The real question is why the patent examiner failed to cite and rely on those publications. Did he/she not consider them relevant prior art?

I know they’re not on the market anymore, but they deserve some attention after so many people were hurt by them. Nobody’s focusing on how to remedy those injuries.
