The Harris Ranch Tesla Supercharger has a couple of things going for it that have made it a part of Tesla enthusiasts’ lore: It’s the one of the electric car giant’s first Supercharger stations, and with 98 charging bays, it’s also the biggest in the world.

All about control over people’s lives and their standard of living. Has nothing to do with “saving” the environment.

The article contains a link to this:

This has nothing to do with the alleged diesel power plant which, as you say, is unconfirmed.

It does not matter. The main power grid that does power these chargers is powered mainly by coal.

People are still stupid.

Those who have no clue as to electric generation are the ones probably believe they grow food stuffs in the back room of the supermarket.

Up here in the wet Northwest, we have these things on rivers called dams, and the water piled up behind the dams is used to turn turbines to generate electricity. Some of the cheapest per KW hour energy available.

*************

That has pretty much been the case since history
began. Just look at this land called the USA and
how is has changed since Columbus sailed the ocean
blue in 1492.

Try 100,000 head of cattle or something like that.

Who wouldn't want to be stuck charging for a couple hours in Texas summer heat, next door to a 100,000 head of cattle. Ripe doesn't describe it.

The entire environmental movement is a dirty little secret. Nothing they say is true and they have no answers for their problems.

The secret? All of the above is to further a hidden agenda to severely restrict the pursuit of happiness for all mankind save the super rich elite.

The Elite are positioning themselves to enjoy a world where they won't have to see, or be bothered by, we peons. Boomers will be gone by the time this comes to pass and the fools who enabled it are going weep for what they've lost.

We just did 1,600 miles in my mid sized (not small) diesel sedan....mostly highway. Four adults and 150 pounds of luggage...A/C always on.

We got 44 mpg.

Having grown up traveling up and down Hwy 5, one can smell the ranch lonnnnnng before one can see it. One time, we witnessed a ranch worker in the middle of an empty corral. He was shoveling all the shhhhhhtuf. I much prefer my job duties to his.

Do these Supercalifragilistic Tesla charging stations come with a warning sign? Fast charging damages the battery, and shortens the overall life of the battery.

I remember a gas station in a rural area while driving from Sacramento to Denver recently. The station had 10 Tesla charging stations. I decided to investigate their usage. I asked the station staff how long the staff had been working there. Five years. In those five years he had witnessed only one person using a charger.

It may not be a secret but it was pretty dirty.

MOSS LANDING, Calif. —
Residents say they feel unsafe in their neighborhood after a Tesla battery caught on fire early Tuesday morning at PG&E’s newest power plant. The fire caused a day-long shelter-in-place advisory for the entire Moss Landing community.

“We like to maintain our windows open. So it’s just concerning. What is in the air? What kind of chemicals and what kind of effect can that have on our health?”

“It does not matter.”

Why does lying NOT matter?

“The main power grid that does power these chargers is powered mainly by coal.”

Nope.

“Tesla’s battery swap station was not in fact being made available to owners who regularly drove between California’s two largest cities”

That’d be Los Angeles and San Diego.

Superchargers can give you 200 miles of charge in 15 minutes. Less time than it would take you to get that steak served at the adjoining restaurant.
