I don’t think there’ll be a war with Russia—mostly because Russia will refuse to play—I do believe Trump’s life is in danger. China has too much $$$ invested in the USA which will negate all debt payments as part of a war.
In any case, such a war would mean the annihilation of all three: The USA, Russia and China. No one would win.

Who will vote for open borders with huge border gates welded open,illegals coming into the country so bad we had to call the reserves out and even if that's not enough: drugs smuggled in, human smuggling out of hand, millions of fighting age males crossing the border,illegals being shipped all over the country.
And, then there's the rest. The endless inflation where you can't buy a house, hard to buy a car,boat,etc. destruction of the economy,dollar, budget craziness, loss of any respect on a worldwide basis.

True enough, but escalation takes on a life of its own. No one wants a nuclear war, but there is also the dynamic of no one wants to lose. Biden and his collection of fools and knaves have invested heavily in a Ukraine victory, whatever that means. With the 2024 election on the horizon, the pressure will grow to either end the war and suffer possible humiliation or escalate it through some sort of pretext to get direct NATO involvement, overtly or covertly.
Putin has no choice but to win. His life literally depends on it. Returning Crimea to Ukraine is a non-starter no matter who runs Russia. It will be defended up to and including nuclear war.
And Zelensky is under constant and increasing pressure from his own people and Europe to end this war. How much death and destruction can the Ukrainian people bear? Will Zelensky (or Biden) widen the war or stage some sort of false flag event that will draw NATO into the war?
Zelensky is coming to the US this month to address the UN. There will also be a vote in Congress this month to send billions more to Ukraine. September will a crucial month for Ukraine and the Biden Administration. Opposition to the war is growing in Congress from the right and the left.
