A woman who was born without a womb has described current fertility treatment guidelines as "full of inequality and discrimination" after she was unable to have her eggs frozen through the NHS.
Taelor Shand, 27, has Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome (MRKH).
She has had a privately-funded egg collection procedure to facilitate future IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation).
The Scottish government said guidance to standardise access to fertility preservation was expected next year.

She’s wanting to have a baby with a guy without a Dick?
Reality in contrapoint to their headline: Mentally ill dude whines that his particular delusions aren’t being catered to, film at 11.
No, it sounds like an actual woman who was born without a womb due to a congenital defect, not a man pretending to be a woman.
What does she expect then to do?
She expected egg collection and storage (frozen)...the NHS apparently provides this service for female chemo patients and for other conditions, just not her condition.
Probably best to read the article before commenting (against FR “tradition” I know). ;-)

newsflash- you can’t always get what you want. also life is unfair.
Someone make a vat of STFU and these whiners have a cup.
These days, who knows
Paging the Lord our God, please pickup the white courtesy phone.
I understand her desire to have her own biological children. But since her disease appears to be genetic (see link) in nature I would have reservations about using PUBLIC money to support her reproduction. Just IMHO, OF COURSE.

She is right; no one should have their eggs frozen. Children are a gift from God, not a commodity that we order from Amazon.
BTT
Born without a brain, also, it seems
Nope. This is a born female who has ovaries so she can release eggs, what she does not have is a uterus.
I could hard boil a few of our chicken eggs and send them over for insertion.
