That is called a false supposition. Who are these magic people that recognize your “facts” and how do you know there is somehow general consensus? Are they the same people who are products of the government school indoctrination and mass media information warfare perhaps? Are they the mass media themselves? How about all those learned teachers you had. Are they part of this general consesus? Where did they get their information? Maybe politicians? Consumers of the NY Times or Washington Post maybe? Have your spoken to the state of russia about its position directly if one can even do that?
I certainly do not agree with your premise.
One can manufacture a belief that there is general concensus through information and cognitive warfare and that is exactly what happens in society.
Well, in that case every single info we get from left or right wing news outlets should be considered as false by default.
We can even go so far as to say that America never sent a man to the moon. After all, we don’t have any true prof. Only information outlets told us we went to the moon.
Also, Putin says (according to every media) that there is no war between Russia and Ukraine right now. But is he right on that... ? Or is media right on that?
