Federal authorities are investigating a cohort of Uzbek nationals, who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border and claimed asylum in the United States, after new intelligence found they relied on assistance from a human trafficker linked to a "foreign terrorist organization," Fox News confirmed Tuesday.

How many thousands of others have crossed over? The FBI is so slow on the draw to go after terrorists but quick to arrest priests for praying on the sidewalks.

My study partner in my last year in Yeshiva was a Bucharan from Tashkent in Uzbekistan. He taught me a couple of phrases of Uzbek. Sounds like a camel spitting up. He also taught me a phrase or two in Buchara and Russian, the latter of which I’ve been studying off and on for a few years.
The old Soviet Union was a tower of Babel, and not divided neatly by region or Republic, either.
