New York City considering housing asylum seekers at shuttered federal prison

NEW YORK - New York City wants to house migrants at a closed federal prison that once jailed mobsters.
That’s not the only location the city is considering as they struggle to find housing for thousands of asylum seekers.
So far, the city says it has opened more than 200 sites, including 13 relief centers.
Friday afternoon, the city said over 101,000 migrants have arrived in New York City since the crisis began, and that number continues to go up.
“We have opened up 200 sites and we are out of space. Good spaces, OK spaces. These are spaces available. All options are on the table,” Deputy Mayor for Communications Fabien Levy said.
Oh, no! 101k! A crisis!
The rest of us have been dealing with the libs’ mess for decades.
I would suggest using the mayor’s residence, Gracie Mansion. The mayor’s family could live on the second floor. Reserve the first floor for the illegals. You could easily fit 50 people in there.
Plus there is ample space in the yard for tents and such.
What say you, Mayor Adams? Lead by example!
“House” these invaders in Mexico.
We are falling into a trap! There is no Constitutional mandate that the govt must provide for foreign invaders. Just because Democrats invited them to 'come on over' does not provide justification for such a mandate. Now they are facing the consequences of their posturing words; they are facing the consequences that they had wished upon their distant neighbors.
I warn that this will end badly. I suspect that an autocratic govt will 'mandate' that citizens who have habitable residences must take in and provide for 'migrants'. The Bolsheviks faced this same problem and solved it this way. There was massive disease, massive starvation, massive theft - massive death.
Of course their 'MSM' never reported on this sort of miscalculation.
