I’ve been pondering what Congress can do with the illegitimate David Weiss. Here’s a proposal: Demand that Weiss be removed as Special Counsel AND placed on leave while he is investigated for corruption/obstruction, etc. Garland will of course refuse and do his usual song and dance. Defund Weiss’ office-completely! Then up the demand, Garland must go on leave for obstruction, corruption, illegal appointment of Special Counsel and everything else they can throw at him, Doesn’t comply? (Of course) Defund Washington Office-completely! So they move the obstruction operation elsewhere? Defund THAT office, too. Meanwhile, McCarthy applies to SCOTUS for relief due to the unusual circumstances of DOJ corruption and corruption of the executive branch that allows no recourse under current law. Ask SCOTUS to allow Congress to appoint unbiased counsel. Of course, it will get major pushback, but bold moves might save the Republic.
