I just got back from Alaska. My husband and I caught it there too, but not on a cruise. It’s no fun to get Covid on vacation. :-(
No, you anticipate the big event so long, prepare for it, and you’ve only got a week. Then the sore throat hits half way through and you know something is coming on. Ugh.
Fortunately, I didn’t get very sick and bounced back quickly.
