I just finished my third cup of coffee this morning.

That said, the way I heard it, the way coffee got to western Europe...the Ottoman Turks were besieging Vienna. A Polish army led by the King Jan Sobieksy attacked the Turks, who ran so fast the hounds couldn’t catch ‘em, and they left their supplies behind, including their coffee.

A Pope almost decided that coffee was not Christian, after tasting it, but changed his mind, probably with Hapsberg influence. It was how the Vienna coffee house culture began.

Yeh, I know race is on my mind every morning when I stagger to the pod machine to make my coffee with sugar and cream. 😆

IMO black people give white people too much credit. Most of us are just trying to make our way in life grubbing for a paycheck or taking care of kids to spend time daydreaming about oppressing the black man. I can honestly say it never enters my mind unless I read an article like this. 😏

How about this? I'll give up reading crap like this and not worry about coffee one way or another. After all, black and brown people are benefiting from electricity, automobiles, telephones, television, and the internet, and whites aren't making a fuss about it.
