After WWI, many women never married or had children, because their likely partners had died. You couldn’t get some bull or stallion or veterinarian to impregnate them. So please.

Mark Steyn wrote extensively about the “lost WW I generation” in his book “America, Alone.” The male pool shrank be 15 or 16 million worldwide. It caused a massive change in attitudes, caused ennui, a sense of futility and a live-for-the-moment feeling. It ultimately led to Western European nations having birth rates far below replacement and the need for what used to be called “Guest Workers” to fill in for missing males. That, of course, has led to the moslem take-over of Europe.
