It’s been said before, but, how come there’s no footage on the front lines? Or maybe I just haven’t seen any.
All I’ve seen is some reporter, somewhere in the woods, and guys ‘training’.
Granted Iraqi and Enduring Freedom involved US troops, but the press was embedded all over the place.
Why no press embeds in Ukraine showing how badass Zelensky’s troops are?
You can see all the action on telegram.
Ukraine has banned journalists from frontline in interest of national security.
Information that might reach the Ukrainian public is tightly controlled.
There is no equivalent daily briefing by Kiev to the one presented by “Igor” of the Russian MoD. Which you can willfully dismiss. However there are unprecedented means of verifying BDA in this war given the proliferation of battlefield drones and other sources to verify losses of the combat effectiveness of entire units. Combined with open source reporting now of satellite imagery of new massive Ukrainian cemeteries.
If the Russians claim to have destroyed 1000 or more Uke troops per day, almost every day, with details about which sectors and battles incurred those losses, I tend to think they are using these sources and it is real-time BDA.
This is a daily average, btw, since the Uke offensives began in June. So do the math. Cut it in half if you want to arbitrarily.
If they're anything like our own media, they'd be feeding intel to the enemy!
Go to reddit Combat Footage and you will see a plethora of combat footage, most of it only days, or hours old.
But if you see a video tagged "NSFL" -- Not Safe for Life, be warned that it is truly horrific.
