I gather you are for the Putin form of justice.

Here in the U.S., when a person says, “I am thinking,” it only means that they’re thinking. It doesn’t mean they’re sending out agents with polonium 210 in order to kill the man.

To my knowledge, the only person prosecuted for failing to register as a foreign agent was Paul Manafort, a Trump associate. Yet, it seems to me, lots of people on the other side of the political spectrum have taken money from foreign governments and haven’t been prosecuted.

My concern, being an American, is equal justice under the law.

You seem to think that before there is an investigation, there must be proof. No. Here in America the standard is reasonable suspicion. Upon reasonable suspicion, law enforcement can obtain a search warrant, or a wiretap, or look at somebody’s bank records. When the FBI went after Donald Trump based on Hillary Clinton’s dossier, since proven to be fake, they came up empty. Then, the FBI completed a false report on their own, to continue to go after Trump.

When that report was proven to be false, were the FBI or Hillary Clinton or, for that matter, John McCain charged with conspiracy to deprive an American of his constitutional rights? No. Of course not. Those laws only pertain to Trump and his supporters. Not to the other side.

Finally, like a typical Russian, when I said Macgregor wasn’t a traitor but may have to file as a foreign agent, you didn’t see the part where I defended Macgregor. This is because in Russia, there’s are no gradations to the law. Whatever Putin decides violates the law gets the death penalty or life in prison like Navalny.

Equal justice means both pardon or commutation of sentence for many of the J6 people; and, reconsideration of sentences for antifa and others engaged in “mostly peaceful demonstrations,” that actually are riots with lots of assault, arson, vandalism and theft, at least going forward.

--- "I gather you are for the Putin form of justice."

You gather incorrectly. I am an American who served in the US Army, lived and worked in Europe and elsewhere and have retired back to America. I argue, as do you, "equal justice under the law."

Ergo, my comment was about FARA. I commented to your view that, "Regarding Macgregor, I am thinking he should register as a foreign agent." My response was to provide the appropriate contact for you to do that. Please do.

Or don't. It's your concern, as you expressed it.

To my knowledge, the only person prosecuted for failing to register as a foreign agent was Paul Manafort, a Trump associate.

One of the charges filed against Russian gun rights activist Maria Butina was that she 'conspired' to avoid FARA registration. Like Manafort it was a trumped up charge she eventually did time for. Her conviction proceeded his by less than a year.
