Face value question; why does Trump continue to allow this person to come near him?

Zelenski: It was worth it for all those that were killed or wounded.
I was able to buy multiple homes and I have a nice big bank account.

What on earth makes you think the Pentagon is being truthful?
No doubt, the people at the pentagon lie, but, that's part of their job. Secrets and truths and lies can be dangerous, depending on who is telling them and who is receiving them.
But, wasn't McGregor part of that in the past, and perhaps in the present? Who to believe. Pick and choose, and you could be wrong either way.

And you know this how?
I don't. But, do you know any different? We are all just listeners and we can choose to believe or not, but, who is privvy to the real truth? Information can be made up, depending on your agenda and goals.

That’s a pretty impressive number, considering Ukraine only had maybe a quarter million active duty before the war started (maybe a million in reserves).
Maybe that’s including civilian deaths?

Lumpy We know MacGregor, MacGregor is a hero, you are a Neocon, not a hero.

These formerly highly placed retired military officers keep their networks of information
But, they don't get to know everything. The insiders can keep or share or lie about the information, depending on what they want those 'former' military offices to divulge. Not everything that 'gets out' is the whole truth, otherwise, why would those 'former' offices be used or allow to speak to the general public if the information is secret? Secrets are like 'loose lips' that can sink ships. Even Trump is not allowed to get secrets, and that's the highest clearance that any 'former officer' can get.

--- "I gather you are for the Putin form of justice."
You gather incorrectly. I am an American who served in the US Army, lived and worked in Europe and elsewhere and have retired back to America. I argue, as do you, "equal justice under the law."
Ergo, my comment was about FARA. I commented to your view that, "Regarding Macgregor, I am thinking he should register as a foreign agent." My response was to provide the appropriate contact for you to do that. Please do.
Or don't. It's your concern, as you expressed it.

But, wasn't McGregor part of that in the past, and perhaps in the present? McGregor doesn't carry water for the MIC, and neither does Ritter. They each have strengths and weaknesses which should be taken into consideration, but both are legitimate subject matter experts and have bona fides in the outside world.

In WW2 those were typical Russian losses in the early part of the war.Yeah but the Soviet Union had much greater population back then.
Right now Russia is old. So they have less soldiers to conscript from the population that's aging rapidly. It's happening in most of the world. Only a few places like Israel is bucking that trend.

Nope not a hero but I served and fought honorably for 28 years. But then again, I’m not a bellowing attention whore like Lumpy. Maybe that’s why you identify with him.

Fine. But, is their information current and without question, and does it come from reliable sources? A lot of information about the war is phony and some is intended as propaganda. Propaganda can come from all sides, and we the people are not always equipped to determine what is real or not.

To my knowledge, the only person prosecuted for failing to register as a foreign agent was Paul Manafort, a Trump associate. One of the charges filed against Russian gun rights activist Maria Butina was that she 'conspired' to avoid FARA registration. Like Manafort it was a trumped up charge she eventually did time for. Her conviction proceeded his by less than a year.

His statement tells me that he is HEAVILY INVOLVED in the CORRUPTION and OIL SMUGGLING trade in UKRAINE.
He wants to continue this war until all traces of his crimes have been burned to the ground.
