Russia then captured several of their men and had their heads gift-wrapped, or so the story goes.

I just cannot envision that “arresting” the leader of the largest nuclear power on earth would go unanswered. I mean answered with extreme prejudice. Basically, what would we do if some nation for example arrested ex-president Bush in some foreign country?

I think that would be a full-on declaration of war. The idiots are way out over the tips of their skis.
