God help us.
Uh, NO.
He’s the only Republican that stood out during the Republican debate, and he isn’t a Republican. If that doesn’t tell the loopy political daydreamers the collapsing state of the GOP, nothing will.
The Democrats like to have their blackmail and personal destruction squad ready for every candidate but that takes years to compile and create Their misunderstanding of the GOP voter stereotypes has clouded their ability to predict future GOP candidates.Democrats will be ruined by their own prejudices as it should be. In a word karma.
Something you got to give Russia credit for, at least THEY seem to be trying to defend their borders and fight for what they see as their national sovereignty. While we set on our hands and whimper.....
What does it tell you about the RINO Establishment that a son of Indian immigrants understands the Republican base far better than any of the RINOs do?
There are a few issues I disagree with Vivek on. As a whole though, he gets far more right than he gets wrong and he’s a lot smarter and has accomplished more than any of the others on the stage in Milwaukee. Also, I doubt Trump will really slap him down hard - he’s not a Establishment tool or a backstabber like most of the others on that stage are. I could easily see him being appointed to a cabinet position. He’s an impressive guy IMO.
Like Trump 2016, Ramaswamy blows holes in The Narrative. That is his appeal, and why he will now be the target for the uni-party. Just read the article, and find that, of all people, Pence is held up as the ideal candidate.
We’re finished. Well, it looks like we are already.
He is a trogen horse.
“Make America India”
Oh hell no!
In this relatively new age of the Internet, voters are going to be faced with all kinds of charlatans, trying to dance and sing like rock stars for high political office. Vivek Ramaswamy is only the most egregious at the moment. Mr. Ramaswamy isn’t even a Republican, according to his voting record. He isn’t even a MAGA supporter. He donated to an Anti-Trump Democrat Candidate in 2016. Documentation obtained from the Franklin County, Ohio Board of Elections suggests that Ramaswamy is a registered “Unaffiliated” voter.
>>former New Jersey governor Chris Christie called Ramaswamy an “amateur” who “sounds like Chat GPT.
It would be interesting to have each of the candidates go one-on-one with Chat GPT in a debate.
I’d bet that Chat GPT would beat all of them.
The old paradigm was to assemble party organization support, which led to donor funding, campaign organization building, organization of events to get earned media, and ad buys on mainstream media.
The new paradigm starts with donor or self-funded seed money to get social media followers, follower contributions, events and earned media, more donors, campaign organization, and MSM ad buys.
So now you start buy building a cult of personality.
The model is to gain media time whether good or bad and Vivek has at least accomplished that. Personally though, I agree with the assessment of Vivek’s public persona given by the commentators. I can’t get excited from what I’ve seen and he gets in his own way of articulating any positions or policy.
“if your karma runs over your dogma...you might be a democrat”
Bkmk
When it goes from principles to personality, we have already lost.
The cult of personality has always been a tool of the left, now the right is following.
I think after the 1980s....you have a lot of people running as Republicans/Democrats...state-level and nationally....who are just marginally qualified for the job required. It’s like the way that Mayor-Pete got to be mayor of South Bend. There just wasn’t any real competition.
You can put Gov Newsom of California in the same group....he’s just not that capable. VP Harris....slipped through various tasks...marginally got anything done, and ended up as a Senator who ‘warped-up’ to be VP.
Alabama’s new GOP Senator (Brit) has little to show for the job, and just lucked out that the GOP primary was so crappy, and the Democrats offered next to nothing on competition.
