Looks like the GOP establishment, at least in lefty New England, hates free and fair elections where the people have the choice just as much as the Democrats do.

New Hampshire the totalitarian state. They will choose which candidates you are “allowed” to vote for.

“DeSantis has done nothing to secure Florida’s elections.”

This is simply not true. He’s been one of the best in the nation for improving election security in the state, and he received all sorts of “anti-Democracy” attacks from the banana republic leftists for it. You should do a little research before making assumptions. I say this as a Trump supporter from Florida.

They could just make counting paper ballots illegal. Then the write-ins won’t be counted.

“engaged in rebellion or insurrection”

Trump - no

Biden - yes (Brady bill votes, gun store closures, student loan defiance)

There is this perpetual impression that the GOP establishment does not understand what has happened to its voters.

I no longer think this is true. They’re not stupid. They have examined the situation carefully and they do understand what has happened. The challenge they face is that what has happened will destroy their power. There is no way around this. And so now we will see just to what extent they will go to hold power.

If it were just the GOP establishment, I would suspect they would fold their tents and go off home to resume life outside politics. But it is not only the GOP establishment. They are just a portion of the Swamp. The entirety of the Swamp is so large that they cannot conceive of going off back home and having a life outside politics. I don’t think there are any limits at all to what will be tried to defend the Swamp.

An assassination attempt is almost guaranteed. Its success or failure will likely depend on the extent to which the security detail can be orchestrated pro Swamp.

If Trump is not on the ballot, many people might stay home, causing some Republicans to lose office.

July 31

For $1, New Hampshire voters were invited to drink beer with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Saturday in Concord.

But barely more than two dozen people showed up at the New Hampshire Home Builders Association, which slashed the ticket price for the general public from $50 late in the week in order to build the crowd.

By the time the event started, an hour late, there were just 30 people in the room.

The republican party will very likely be permanently destroyed if they allow or help Trump to be neutralized and they know it. If the republican party goes our political system will collapse. Are they willing to collapse our political system in order to get rid of Trump? I kind of think so but that comes with a new set of serious risks.

Right now they are still hoping that they can stop Trump and go back to the way things were.

I think that these are revolutionary times for America. They are willing to wage war on their own country to keep power.

Moderate Republicans are like the Washington Generals. We’ll get the same results as a progressive country just a bit slower

Jealousy is a tough emotion to deal with. This is their outlet."

It's not jealously IMO.

Sununu, and the rest of the Never Trumpers, are not going to these BIZARRE lengths to stop Trump, because they don't like him personally.

They would not be willing to turn their entire states upside down, (along with the rest of the country), over emotions.

IMO, the reason for this goes back to where Trump said "I caught them all".

I think these people, (and the Democrat party), must be involved in some sort of massive criminality/corruption, and President Trump really did catch them?

What else explains all this madness we are witnessing?

🤔

Somebody should asked Sununu his position on this. All we have right now is silence from the FoD and governor of NH.

DeSantis is for machine voting and extended voting.

Trump is for paper ballots and same day voting.

DeSantis wants us to forget about the election fraud in the last two election cycles and move on. He won't even say that it happened.

Trump reminds the voters everyday what happened.

I'm more confident (although still pessimistic) that Trump will beat the fraud before the election compared to DeSantis and am fully confident that Trump will be better than DeSantis on election reform after the election.

Desperation and i am sure there is corruption but the list of critics is so long and diverse they cant all be in on the cover up. What they all do seem to have in common are careers (some stretching 40-50 years) in Washington with no actual record of accomplishing anything. Imagine an outsider who laid out his plan and executed succesfully , rebuilding the country stronger then its been in decades… often without the help of his own party. His success proves the Washington business model is junk.
